Nzuri Basket – Original

With their intricate traditional design, this handwoven basket is both remarkably durable and stylish. The mix of materials, graphic pattern, and stark palette add a stunning statement to any room.  The “wishing basket” lid, of native Ugandan style, makes it a versatile storage space. Leave off the lid for a unique planter or umbrella holder in your entryway; or close it up to stow away an assortment of items. Handwoven by a cooperative of twenty women, tucked away in the Rwenzori Mountains, each basket takes weeks to complete. Made exclusively in a fair trade environment.
